Listing support

Exchange listing support for token projects

Exchange listing support covers preparing the token for an exchange application and coordinating the day it goes live: what each exchange asks for, where the project sits against the criteria, and the liquidity that has to be in place before trading opens. EchoTrade has supported 2,000+ launches across 90+ venues since 2023.

What it covers

What do exchanges ask for in an application?

What each exchange asks for, in the form it expects. Prepared before you submit, so a rejection is not how you find out what was missing.

Where does your project sit against the listing criteria?

Where the project sits against the listing criteria today, and what has to change first. Some of it takes weeks, which is why it is worth knowing early.

What has to be live on launch day?

Liquidity in place before trading opens rather than after, and pricing consistent across venues from the first minute the book is live.

How do you stay listed after?

Exchanges review listed tokens based on depth and spread, and flag the ones that fall below requirements. We help bring those metrics back within range and keep them there.

How it works

01

Requirements

What do tier-1 exchanges check before listing a token?

The same things, in a different order.

A legal entity and KYB on the founders. A completed smart contract audit from a recognised firm. Tokenomics with a vesting schedule the exchange can read. Evidence of a community and a working product. And a Market Maker, named in the application, because the exchange wants to know the book will be there on day one.

Binance's own listing application asks for all of these. The full list, with what each item takes to prepare, is in Binance listing requirements.

02

Timeline

How long does listing preparation take?

Two to three months if nothing has been started, because the audit is the long pole:

a reputable firm takes four to eight weeks and exchanges will not review an application without it. Market Maker onboarding runs in parallel and takes four to six weeks. Projects that start both at the same time are ready for the application in around eight weeks.

03

Post-listing

What happens after listing if depth or spread drops?

Every serious exchange monitors listed tokens against published thresholds.

MEXC, for example, applies a 2% spread ceiling and a $50,000 daily volume floor under its monitoring criteria. A token that falls below gets a warning designation, and typically has around three days to bring the metrics back into range before the delisting process starts. This is the part of listing support that continues after the listing. Why tokens get flagged and what the window looks like is in why tokens get delisted.

04

Listing fees

Do you handle the listing fee?

No.

The listing fee is paid to the exchange and is separate from the desk's fee. They are different budget lines, and the most common budgeting mistake we see is treating the listing fee as the whole cost of listing. What exchanges actually charge, and why the range is wide, is in how much it costs to list a token on an exchange.

05

Exchange strategy

How many exchanges should a token launch on?

Fewer than most founders plan for.

Every additional venue adds infrastructure and inventory, and a token spread thin across five books is easier to flag than one that is deep on two. We usually recommend funding two books properly at launch and adding venues once the first ones are stable.

The reasoning is in how many exchanges to launch on.

FAQ

It depends on the token's stage, the budget for inventory, and where the holders already are. Across 90+ venues we see which exchanges fit which token profiles, and that advice is free if you ask before the listing date is announced. It is much less useful after.

No. We work across 90+ centralized exchanges, from the tier-1 venues such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin and Gate.io to the mid-tier exchanges where most tokens list first. EchoTrade is an official Liquidity Partner of MEXC, but which venues we recommend depends on your token, not on a partnership.

Usually after spot, not instead of it. Exchanges open perpetual futures on tokens whose spot market already holds depth and volume, so the route runs through a healthy spot book first. We help projects qualify for early-stage launch programs and perpetual futures markets, with liquidity support from the first day the contract trades.

Yes, where we already work with the venue, including MEXC, where EchoTrade is an official Liquidity Partner. An introduction does not replace the review: every exchange still checks the application against its own criteria, which is why we prepare the application before the conversation starts.
