Best Crypto Market Makers for a Low-Budget Token Launch in 2026

The short version: on a small budget, Market Making typically costs $2,500 to $10,000 a month on a retainer, plus order book capital that usually starts around $20,000 and comes back at the end. Spend it on one or two venues with proper depth rather than five thin ones. EchoTrade, Kairon Labs, Gravity Team, Flowdesk and B2C2 differ a lot in who they work with. All five are compared in full in our top crypto market makers list; this page is about which of them a small budget can actually reach.

What does Market Making cost on a small budget?

Two lines, and founders usually budget for only the first.

The retainer is the desk's fee, typically $2,500 to $10,000 a month. Where you land depends mostly on how many exchanges are covered and how long the contract runs. On a small budget, you are at the low end of that range by covering fewer venues.

The order book capital is the stablecoins and tokens that sit on each exchange so there is something to quote with. It commonly starts around $20,000 for a small launch. It is not spend: it stays in your own exchange accounts and comes back when the engagement ends. But it cannot do anything else while the book is live.

Some desks offer a token loan instead of a retainer, borrowing a share of supply rather than charging a fee. It looks cheaper for a team with tokens and no cash, and the cost shows up later. Retainer vs token loan covers how to compare them. EchoTrade works on a retainer only and does not take token loans, call options or profit share.

Where should a low-budget launch cut, and where shouldn't it?

Cut venues. Don't cut depth.

Order books do not share liquidity. $10,000 of depth on one exchange does nothing for the book on another. A small budget spread across five exchanges produces five thin books, and each one is measured separately by the exchange that lists it. Across the 2,000+ launches we have supported, the low-budget launches that held up were almost always the ones that listed on fewer venues and funded them properly.

Three rules that keep a small budget working:

One or two venues to start. Add more once the first books are healthy.

Ask for a quote per venue. A package price hides which venues are actually covered.

Budget six months, not launch day. Exchange obligations on spread, depth and uptime start the day you list and do not stop.

The arithmetic for venue count is in how many exchanges you should launch on, and the whole launch, line by line, is in the token launch budget.

Best Crypto Market Makers for a Low-Budget Token Launch in 2026

EchoTrade

Founded in 2023, EchoTrade quotes order books across more than 90 centralized and decentralized exchanges and is an official liquidity partner of MEXC. It works on a retainer only, and its pricing is set out in how much a crypto Market Maker costs, so a small project can size the budget before the first call. Tokens and capital stay in the project's own exchange accounts. Listing support and launch advisory sit alongside the quoting. More at EchoTrade.

Pricing: see how much a crypto Market Maker costs. Venues: 90+ centralized and decentralized exchanges. Low-budget fit: small launches on one or two venues, quoted per venue.

Kairon Labs

Kairon Labs is the desk small projects most often name alongside us: a listings-focused firm offering Market Making, liquidity provision, partnerships and advisory, with 300+ clients reported. It is a natural candidate for a small or mid-cap launch. Pricing is not published, so ask for a per-venue quote.

Gravity Team

Gravity Team publishes coverage of 1,400+ trading pairs across 40+ exchanges, alongside OTC and exchange liquidity. The pair count suggests depth of coverage per exchange. For a small budget, the question is the minimum engagement, which is not published.

Pricing: not published. Venues: 40+ exchanges, 1,400+ trading pairs. Low-budget fit: mid-cap tokens quoted across several pairs.

Flowdesk

Flowdesk is on this page for completeness rather than fit: a Paris firm founded in 2020 with 150+ venues, a MiCA CASP authorisation in the EU, a VARA licence in Dubai, and BlackRock, Coinbase Ventures and Ripple among its backers. It is better known for larger and regulated engagements. On a small budget, ask about the minimum before anything else.

Pricing: not published. Venues: 150+ venues, 1,000+ pairs. Low-budget fit: ask about minimums first; better known for larger and regulated engagements.

B2C2

B2C2 works with institutions only, which rules it out for most small launches before pricing even comes up; it offers Market Making, OTC and stablecoin swaps from London. It is included because it comes up in Market Maker searches, but it is not a low-budget launch desk. Small projects will usually find a better fit higher on this list.

What should a small project ask before signing?

  • What is the minimum engagement, per month and in length?
  • Can you quote per venue? So you can start on one and add more.
  • How much order book capital do you need on each venue?
  • Where do our tokens and stablecoins sit? In your own accounts is the setup that keeps control with you.
  • What spread and depth will you commit to per venue, in writing?

FAQ

What is the cheapest way to get a Market Maker for a new token?

Launch on fewer exchanges. Retainers scale with venue count, and order book capital has to sit on each exchange separately. One or two venues with proper depth cost far less than five thin ones and hold up better.

How much does a Market Maker cost per month for a small project?

On a retainer, typically $2,500 to $10,000 a month, with small projects at the low end because they cover fewer venues. Order book capital is separate, commonly from about $20,000, and it comes back at the end.

Is a token loan cheaper than paying a retainer?

It is cheaper at signing, because there is usually no monthly fee. The real cost depends on the token price when the loan ends, which nobody knows in advance. Model it at a few different prices before deciding.

Can I launch without a Market Maker to save money?

On a DEX, sometimes. On a centralized exchange, it is rarely possible: most ask you to name a designated Market Maker in the listing application, and they monitor spread and depth from the first day of trading.

What happens if a low-budget launch runs out of order book capital?

The book goes one-sided. Bids get used up, spreads widen and the price falls faster than demand justifies. Exchanges notice, which is why the capital has to be sized per venue before launch rather than topped up later.
